Revolutionary warm-WINDOWS technology

Lower heating bills

When building a house we apply wall insulation and invest in economical solutions that will reduce heating costs. However, this will not guarantee warm compartments, since heat may escape simply through leaky windows.

Good windows should have as low thermal transmission coefficient (U) as possible. The lower the U-value, the less heat is lost through windows. Heat is first of all lost in the system’s weakest points (not for nothing do people say that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link). Windows’ weak link is their frames.

Panes are another factor that influence the amount of heat lost. Pane that well keep heat inside have the U-value of 1.0 W/m2K or lower: SUPERthermo pane Ug= 0.5 W/m2K (PN-EN 674:1999).

PVC window frames

In PVC windows, the frame thermal transmission coefficient is the resultant of profile width (the recommended width is over 70 mm), the number of chambers (optimally 4 or 5) and reinforcements inside the frame. The material of which the reinforcements are made has a crucial effect on the thermal parameters. Standard reinforcements are made of metal, which worsens window thermal insulation properties.

NEW! TITANthermo PVC windows

We are a sole manufacturer of the most efficient solution: TITANthermo PVC windows. These windows are based on the revolutionary technology of warm WINDOWS. The standard metal reinforcements in the window frame are replaced here with the MS Thermal System.

MS Thermal System

This is a composite of glass fiber and polyester resin. This durable, lighter than steel material is successfully applied in the construction of yachts, aircraft and in the space industry. Additionally, the reinforcements are filled with polyurethane foam. The thermal insulation of these new reinforcements is from 1500 to 2000 times better than that of the standard reinforcements. The use of MS Thermal System allows for a reduction of the frame thermal conductivity to 1.0 W/m2K.

This new solution has even more advantages. When compared to the standard metal reinforcements, the new ones are 35% lighter, and as a result the service life of the hardware and hinges is longer. Windows manufactured in the new technology do not easily yield to strains, as their reinforcements have a three-time better mechanical resistance than steel does.

U-value of a single window manufactured by MS beyond WINDOWS can be calculated in the U-value calculator.

Wy do professionals recommend using the new MS solution?

Information concerning what windows should be used in our house or flat is noted in the construction documentation. Architects determine the sizes and shapes of the windows and calculate the basic technical parameters like thermal and sound insulation. Energy auditors, who deal with the modernisation of buildings’ thermal insulation parameters, are using the new MS solution to effectively curb heating loss. The revolutionary technology of warm windows has been created and is still being developed in consultation with auditors and architects and on the basis of opinions and experiences voiced by assembly workers. We also rely on the results of studies done by renowned construction research institutes.

MS solutions are recommended by professionals as reliable and ones that meet strict technical standards and requirements.
